Shades of Green - This 5-story expansion project includes a 4-1/2-level parking garage, 287 new guest rooms (increasing the total to 600 rooms), a spacious lobby, banquet facilities, ten suites, and two restaurants. The building’s facade is stone/stucco veneer with simulated wood trusses made of fiber-reinforced plastic and pre-cast panels with tube steel decorative columns. A combination of structural systems was utilized for the expansion, including composite structural steel floors, post-tensioned concrete flat slabs, and steel framed roof trusses.
