Houston Community College Headquarters Renovation and Parking Garage - Originally built in 1965 to serve as the administrative headquarters for Southwestern Bell Telephone, this 12-story office building in downtown Houston was renovated to accommodate the administrative headquarters for the Houston Community College System. Pedestrian bridges connect the office building to the parking garage. The structural system for the garage is a pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete system. The garage was constructed on a tight, urban site with special foundation considerations due to property line limitations.
